After A
Breakup Don’t Use Substances
Learn
The Exact Steps To Winning Back Your
Ex
I know that its a bit of a cliche, but there
are many people that start consuming a lot of drugs
and alcohol right after a breakup. Its sad, but its
unfortunately true.
The intense
feeling of loneliness and depression is just sometimes to much
to handle for some people and they want instant relief of these
feelings, so they turn to something that they think will make
them happy, like alcohol and drugs.
There are a lot
of things wrong with this scenario. First off, its unhealthy,
especially if you plan on binge drinking, as many people have
wrecked not only their chances of winning back their ex, by
doing this, but also their lives.
Also, alcohol is
a natural depressant. It may be a quick relief of happiness,
but how “happy” are you when you wake up with a hangover. It
can destroy the body, mind, and spirit. You are going to need
all these things if you are planning to win your ex
back.
Remember what’s
more important to you: One single night of fun, or the
potential to get back with your ex, and enjoy a lifetime of
happiness with your true love? The answer should be rather
obvious.
Try to think
long-term. I’m sure you’ve had enough friends who have gone
through a tough breakup. I’m sure some of them turned to
alcohol as a form of relief. I can almost guarantee that it did
not work out too well for them. Don’t make the same
mistake.
If you don’t know
anybody who’s made that mistake, go to your local blockbuster,
and pick up almost any movie from the romance section. Almost
all of them have that scene where the man loses the girl, and
is drowning his sorrow with a drink, then the bartender gives
him some wonderful advice about how that’s not going to help
him win his girl back. The guy realizes the error of his way,
and by the end of the movie, they are back together. I know its
cheesy but in this particular case, its not a bad idea to take
advice from movies.
